VE-Net is an innovative network related to energy and funded by the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. The aim of the network is to create collaboration initiatives between companies and research institutes with the purpose of increasing the application of research-based expertise in the business community and to solve high technology matters.

The consortium of VE-Net includes companies and research establishments focusing on renewable energy technologies in the areas of manufacturing, application and integration of these technologies. VE-Net is the only existing network where participants from all energy fields have the opportunity to meet to discuss joint initiatives. By acting as a catalyst in the process, VE-Net is therefore able to co-ordinate and combine efforts to promote renewable energy initiatives. VE-Net also works on creating more visibility within the Danish energy sector and energy research in an international aspect.

 

The Danish Technological Institute (DTI) is an independent, non-profit  research institution. We develop, apply and disseminate research- and technologically-based knowledge for the Danish and International business sectors.  As such we participate in development projects which are of use to society in close collaboration with leading research and educational institutions both in Denmark and abroad.

The Transport Innovation Network (TINV) is a national, cross disciplinary network aimed at the Danish Transport sector. The primary objectives of TINV are to create synergy, encourage match-making and generate research and development projects between stakeholders in the transport sector and research- and educational institutions, as well as related sectors such as energy and infrastructure.

  

Danish Energy Industries Federation is a part of DI and consists of approximately 300 member companies that have energy as the primary area of activity. The Danish energy sector is one of the fastest growing export sectors of the Danish economy. 

The Federation of Danish Energy Industries is engaged in a number of activities on a national level as well on a European level. This encompasses both network and advisory activities addressing the key issues of interest to the members within research, development and policy issues. Furthermore, The Federation of Danish Energy Industries is an active participant in and administrator of specific projects within the energy field. Moreover, The Federation of Danish Energy Industries takes an active part in the public-private partnerships, which among others is established in areas of hydrogen and fuel cells and second-generation bio fuels.

        

The Danish Energy Association is a commercial and professional organisation for Danish energy companies. It is managed and financed by its member companies, mainly the electricity companies, and works to secure for them the freest and most favourable conditions.

The Danish Energy Association takes care of its member companies’ interests and thus works to improve conditions and competition among these companies in order to ensure development, growth and well-being in Denmark.
